Joshua is a Yorkshire-born photographer based in London, working across documentary photography and photojournalism. He is currently studying Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the University of the Arts London.

 

His practice focuses on people, place and social change, with a particular interest in communities, identity and the relationship between individuals and their environments. Drawing on his own experiences and connections to place, his work often explores the ways in which history and social change continue to shape contemporary communities and landscapes.

Joshua’s approach combines observational photography with a strong sense of narrative, seeking to create honest and considered bodies of work that give space to the people and places he photographs.
